Handles for entrance doors

Currently, there is a growing trend of using handles for entrance doors. Doors with handles make a more impressive first impression and become a more representative piece for the owner. Their use is both aesthetic and provides higher comfort when operating the doors. The position of the handle can be adapted to specific customer needs or preferences. Door handles can be used on entrance doors of family houses, apartment buildings, offices, multi-functional buildings, etc.

In the inventory of GAVAplast, you can find not only popular handles with a circular cross-section, but also square handles, either with a square or rectangular cross-section. Products are available in various lengths, according to customer wishes. Handles are made of stainless steel material with a brushed stainless steel or matte surface finish. Handles in black finish RAL 9005 are also popular and design-attractive among customers.

The handle offer comes in two basic variants:

• Offset handles (angled legs)
  - are designed for standard installation on the door wing. Handles in the door wing are usually attached to a steel reinforcement with a standard thickness of 2-3 mm.




• Perpendicular handles (straight legs)
  - are designed only for installation on the surface of the door panel (during its production), and cannot be mounted on the door wing. Handles on the door panel surface are anchored to an M8 x 20 mm steel nut, with acting forces transferred from the nut to a 3mm thick steel plate. This steel plate is designed specifically for each door panel design to prevent forces from being transferred to the glass in the door panel, but instead distributed over a large area of the door panel and then to the wing profile.

When comparing perpendicular handles with offset handles, perpendicular handles have several advantages:

• - eliminates diagonal stress on anchoring points (the handle is therefore more stable and more resistant to swaying)

• - there is more space around the lock cylinder for hands, which allows the owner to unlock the doors more comfortably

• - using a handle mounted on the door panel enhances the design of the door panel
